Smoke that thunders
This beauty is spectacular. Straddling Zambia and Zimbabwe, the falls can be seen from both sides and the views can be ridiculously stunning, depending on time of the year. This is the largest waterfall in the world (largest falling sheet of falling water) and is one of the seven natural wonders of the world. And if this is not wonderful enough, swinging through its gorges or even swimming at the Devils’s pools right at the edge is something worth thinking about. That said, a sunset or sundrise cruise along the mighty Zambezi river that is the source of the falls is unforgettable.
